Dr. John J. Ialeggio PALMER TOWNSHIP Dr. John J. Ialeggio, 68, of Palmer Twp., PA, passed away peacefully June 27, 2018, in his home, surrounded by his loving family. John was born in Newark, NJ, a son of the late John G. and Mildred (Kajano) Ialeggio. He was married to Joanne (Esposito), with whom he celebrated 42 years of marriage last August. John received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Kentucky and completed his doctorate and orthopedic residency (Executive Chief Resident) at New York Medical College. John was an orthopedic surgeon for Coordinated Health in Bethlehem, PA, until his retirement in April 2018. John served as a member of the Board of Trustees at Easton Hospital, was Chief Orthopedic Surgeon, and was the Director of Orthopedics at New Eastwood Rehab Facility. He was beloved by patients, staff, and colleagues. John loved his career as an orthopedic surgeon, the time spent with his wife and children, and especially the joy of playing with his grandchildren. John is survived by his wife, Joanne; his children, John M. Ialeggio and wife Julie; Anne Marie Ialeggio; Danielle Hionis and husband Spiros; and Michael Ialeggio; sister, Elizabeth Brophy and husband Patrick; sister-in-law, Theresa and husband Charles; grandchildren, Anabelle, John and Carina Ialeggio; Angeliki, Joanne, and baby-to-be Hionis; nieces Kathleen Tabor, Michelle Leedy and Catherine LaRocca; nephews, Patrick Brophy and Andrew LaRocca.
